The first LE BLEW BY YOU/RAGIN CAJUN 'Event'

I am going to have to change our name to Le Bleu By US is we don’t get on the board here soon. And I WILL do it, you know. J We had another tough match last night and we fell 1 /2 to the San Jose Racketeers. And what a racket it was. Janie and Jack fell 3 and 4 against a solid team. They both felt like they were not firing on all cylinders last night. Probably way too much anticipation of our big Bleu party to follow. Well, they were first off the court so they did get to enjoy the party. And, it was a fun and “nice” match which is more than I can say about Barry and Bea’s court. There’s something about Barry…..He doesn’t like to lose but what we REALLY doesn’t like is when the guy hits right at the woman. Their opponent narrowly missed Bea several times, even with a bandage on her nose from a recent surgery. Yes, she had made a choice to be on the court, but Barry felt the opponent’s bad manners were unacceptable. Things escalated and the two guys were not well behaved. Lines people were called and that even further irritated things. It kind of went from bad to worse and we fell in two….spitting mad. Ray and I, on the other hand, were happy and having a great time on our court. We played a nice duo with some really fun points. We lost the first set 4/6 and then were down 5/4 in the second set but came back to bring it to a tie and won the 7pt tie. We then immediately went into the 10 pt tie and were down 2/7 when we dug DEEP and brought it back to an 11/9 win (if I have that score right)!!! Well, I know we WON for sure. Those comeback win’s feel great and we did squeeze out a win on our court for the night, saving a team bagel. Great food and festivities . We stayed and cheered on the Ragin Cajuns to a narrow 2/1 victory, finishing up at 10:45 PM. A late one. We also had great cheerleaders, Pat, Karen, Yumiko, Craig, Tina…….great turnout and thank you all!
