Team Le Blue was ON FIRE with some SIZZLING action both on and off the court tonight. I will keep this short since we had a HUGE turnout and most of you were there.
Neil and Susan SEARED the #1 spot in 2 with some really solid tennis. They played Sargon the crooner and he and Neil just EGGED each other on the entire match. It looked like a lot of fun!
Charles and Julia JULIENNED the serious SLICER on their court. That was a very exiting match, great points! A terrific effort by our jumpin' jambalaya duo. (Charles, great job on the jambalaya too.)
Gentleman Jack, just could not bring himself to drill that obnoxious woman on their court (not you Cathy, the opponent). Jack and Cathy both played great and kept the match respectable and close throughtout. Alas, ultimately it was our team that was COOKED in two - 4/3.
Well, the food was fabulous the party was fantastic and I think it was Charles who said that by the end of our season the entire club will be turning out to attend our matches. We may have to charge admission. It was Neil who said we may have peaked too early. I don't think so - wait till Brits and Bangers night.
Let's keep up the seriously good tennis, and the superior cuisine, and what do you say.... let's KICK IT UP A NOTCH!!!
